Pape-Dawson Engineers, Inc. is pleased to welcome Robert Wempe, P.E. as Vice President in our Houston office. In this role, Mr. Wempe will lead residential land development projects, feasibility and preliminary engineering for new residential developments, subdivision infrastructure design, platting, and construction phase services, as well as providing consulting services to municipal utility districts.
Mr. Wempe has nearly 30 years of engineering experience. His project work includes serving as the District Engineer for eight municipal utility/drainage districts and overseeing more than 2,000 acres of new residential developments, including various subdivisions located in the 1,260-acre Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 167 in Katy and the 300-acre Royal Shores development in Kingwood.
Mr. Wempe is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and the Greater Houston Builders Association.

Mr. Wempe earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree from Louisiana State University in 1989. He is also a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas.
