Pape-Dawson Engineers, Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Rebecca Carroll, P.E., LEED AP BD+C to Vice President. As Vice President, Ms. Carroll will continue to lead civil projects, including master planning, platting, design of detention and water treatment facilities, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for drainage studies, development of grading, drainage and utility plans, and construction phase services.
With 18 years’ experience in Civil Engineering and Environmental services, Ms. Carroll’s technical skills have contributed to the success of such projects as Alamo Ranch, Valley Ranch, Falcon Landing, Cavender Audi-Dominion, and Huebner Oaks Apartments, as well as numerous McDonald’s, Bill Miller Bar-B-Q, and other fast food restaurants. She supports clients, such as DR Horton, KB Home, Hanna-Magee, Brazos de Santos Partners, and many other single- and multi-family residential and small commercial developers. These projects have contributed to her experience with numerous jurisdictions in central and south Texas.
Ms. Carroll has served on the Texas Society of Professional Engineers Bexar Chapter Board of Directors for nine years and served as President of the chapter during the 2016-2017 term. She was awarded Young Engineer of the Year in 2006, and was a participant in the 2008-2009 Leadership Development Program with the Real Estate Council of San Antonio. Ms. Carroll is also a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers.

Ms. Carroll earned a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering degree from The University of Texas at Austin in 1999 and a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2003. She is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas, and is Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, Building Design, and Construction certified.
