The Officers of Pape-Dawson Engineers, Inc. are pleased to announce the promotion of Nathan Billiot, P.E. to Vice President. In this role, Mr. Billiot will continue managing civil teams involved with the design and construction of commercial, industrial, residential, and multi-family developments.
Mr. Billiot joined Pape-Dawson Engineers in 2011, and has more than 20 years’ experience in civil engineering. He has managed the design and construction of commercial, industrial, residential, and multi-family developments; design of water, sanitary, and storm sewer systems; detention basins and grading plans; and hydrologic and hydraulic flood studies.
During his career with Pape-Dawson, Mr. Billiot has successfully led innovative projects, such as the British International School of Houston, Texas State Veterans Home, Post Oak Development, multiple HEB warehouse expansions, Taco Bell, hundreds of McDonald’s side-by-side drive thrus, remodel rebuild and new restaurant projects, as well as other notable developments in the greater Houston area.
Mr. Billiot serves on the American Council of Engineering Companies Design Standards/Plan Review Committee, which interfaces with the City of Houston, Harris County, and Harris County Flood Control District to review, refine, and update the various standards and design criteria for each agency.

Mr. Billiot holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
